GYGV Kanizsa is committed to sustainability and energy efficiency. In line with this commitment, we installed a 100 kW zero feed-in solar panel system on the roof of our facility at the end of last year—an important step in our company’s green transition.
The new system can generate up to 120,000 kWh of clean energy annually, which comfortably covers our company’s yearly electricity consumption based on past data. Since the system does not feed energy back into the grid, all the power we generate is used directly for our operations. As a result, we reduce our CO₂ emissions by approximately 50 tons per year, which is equivalent to planting more than 2,000 trees.
To further support sustainability, we have also installed electric vehicle charging stations, enhancing our energy efficiency and reducing our ecological footprint.
With these developments, GYGV Kanizsa continues to contribute actively to environmental protection and the transition to a sustainable future. Our commitment to green investments and efficiency improvements does not stop here—we have more sustainability projects planned for the future. A key milestone in this journey was achieving ISO 14001 environmental management certification in 2023, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable operations.
